SUNIT BONDE ADIVASI [TRIBAL] COOPERATIVE LIFT IRRIGATION PROJECT
This project was implemented for agriculture land spread across 350 Acres of land at Pal. The cost of this project was around Rs. 80,00,000 Lakhs. Mr. Sunit Bonde and Mr. Madhukar Rao Chaudhari collected the tribals and made them aware about cooperative and started a cooperative for them. But before this project took a formal shape and was inaugurated Mr. Sunit Bonde expired. CAA, Australia had funded the project. In the year 1992 the then Chief Minister of Maharshtra Mr. Sudhakar Rao Naik and Mr. Madhukar Rao Chaudhari, the then speaker of Maharashtra State Assembly jointly inaugurated the project. At present the efforts are on to increase capacity of irrigating the land by 1200 Hectare.
